Moruya High Information Technology courses accommodate for many students including a wide rage of courses for gifted and talented students. Years 7 and 8 students gain early exposure to IT through the Mandatory Technology course. Years 9 and 10 students can elect to study the Information and Software Technology course and senior students can choose from the 2 unit Information Processes and Technology and Software Design and Development courses. These courses give students the chance for them to learn and excel in a variety of computing areas. Moruya High School's talented students have had the opportunity to undertake courses with the University of Sydney and Wollongong University. The DET has released a new technology guide for parents.
