Vocational Education and Training

The Vocational and Educational Training (VET) courses, Hospitality Operation and Construction, are recognised both by industry and for the award of the HSC. The opportunity for students to undertake VET courses gives them the leading edge with employment empowerment and the chance to undertake further studies with the award of a Certificate II in their chosen field. This certificate is credited towards national vocational qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Students can continue their training and studies within the industry, or through TAFE and private providers.

Through all these courses we support and participate in community fund raising activities and network with other schools. We are able to enrich the learning of our students through our new commercial kitchen and engaging in construction projects around the school.  We also have specialised community members demonstrate their skills and regularly visit local establishments.
