On Thursday 6th August construction on the school fence began. The new 2.1m high fence is being put up as a security fence to try to prevent vandalism in the school grounds.  The fence was originally going to be put up just inside the school barrier on the western side because there is a small creek there which would not be suitable to construct a fence on.

The Environmental Group wanted to rehabilitate the creek though so they took some initiative and built a stone wall which will stabilise the fence.  A select group of students will be working on tidying and rehabilitating the creek.
