This year Moruya High School has 7 teams and 2 individuals in its push-up community taking part in The PUSH-UP CHALLENGE between 11th to 31st May 2020.
Our community is made up from past and present students as well as teachers and teaching assistants.
We participate to engage in some friendly rivalry and help our organisation support mental health and suicide prevention through The Push-Up Challenge.
Over the course of 21-days in May each team or individual will be complete 3,046 push-ups in total, representing the number of lives lost in Australia to suicide in 2018.

Our individuals complete all 3,046 push-ups by themselves and our teams work together towards the combined daily target.

The number of push-ups changes each day to reflect a vital mental health statistic and we receive some mental health tips and facts each day which keep us up to date on some of the challenges young people face growing up in our modern world.

All funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge this year are supporting Headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation who provide mental health support to young Australians aged 12-25 years. Fundraising is optional but offers a great opportunity to support young people in your community.

We have a new headspace office opening in Batemans Bay.

Join our Community and thousands of others across Australia to push for better mental health!
