The new innovative commercial kitchen is now complete and will provide students with opportunities to experiment and develop culinary creations that will be healthy, delightful and delectable. Food tech teacher, Mrs Harper is also encouraging students to be resourceful and creative by preparing the food they made during the isolation period. Using this method along with others, teaches students to think on their feet and improvise - especially when they may need it in the workplace. The kitchen is an industrial-style workplace, with advanced equipment and technology Contributing to this new kitchen was last year’s star student, Ella Burke. She won $5000 for her amazing bag design, with this money, she donated an eco-friendly freezer to the school.
